There is one “A” level team. Team placement is based on individual players’ skill levels. Players are assessed by doing drills and game-like play during the Evaluation Days by a group of independent evaluators.
Teams will be posted in TeamSnap.
* The A-level team in both 5th-6th and 7th-8th divisions may have playoff games following regular season dates based on season standings.
Uniforms: RGYL will provide a team pinnie.
- Girls will need to provide their own black sports skirt or shorts to be worn for games.
- Also bring a lacrosse stick, mouth guard, goggles, and water bottle
- During the cold weather, it is fine to wear black leggings or sweatpants.
- An online RGYL “Gear Store” will open soon to purchase these & additional items.
- Everyone is expected to attend ALL evaluation sessions. Please let us know of any conflicts ahead of time. We try to work around known conflicts (RES musical theater, Rec basketball) as best we can. We will do our best to evaluate your daughter on the days she is present so that she is placed on the team that best matches her ability level.
- While many girls in these grades have played in prior years, you do not need to have played lacrosse previously to play. All levels are welcome!

- Please remember this is only a township league and not a club team. This program is run by VOLUNTEERS and our main goal is to provide everyone the opportunity to play the game of lacrosse. Please tell the girls to come ready to play and HAVE FUN their lacrosse experience will be great no matter what team they are on.
- For evaluation RESULTS we appreciate your help, and can't reiterate enough that preparing your daughter mentally for the season is the best support you can give us as program leaders. If you and your daughter are not in agreement with the team placement please respect the process and realize we have tried our best to get everyone evaluated correctly. We field very strong teams at Radnor and will have many strong teams at each level this spring. Our main goal is to provide Radnor girls with the best possible experience while playing the game of lacrosse.
